A leak above the entrance
In March 2026, Premier Reinstatements (UK) Ltd carried out investigation and repair work at a Tim Hortons restaurant in Gloucester. Water entering the building had damaged the ceiling above the entrance and caused part of it to collapse.
The leak remained unresolved after earlier plumbing visits. Premier’s instruction brought together the investigation of the source and the repair of the affected roof area and entrance ceiling.

Tracing the source to the roof
Premier carried out a thorough leak investigation and tracing process. This established that water was entering through the roof, rather than coming from the plumbing. The findings established where the repair needed to be directed, connecting the ceiling damage inside with the affected area of the roof.
The roof photographs document the area examined during the investigation. Alongside the internal photographs, they keep a record of the building condition at the time of the work.

Roof repairs and ceiling reinstatement
Premier repaired the affected roof area and reinstated the damaged entrance ceiling, including decoration. The scope therefore covered both the source-related building repair and the internal finish affected by the water.
This joined the investigation and the resulting building work within one project. The location of the visible ceiling damage was the starting point; the investigation findings determined the roof area requiring attention.
What the repair photographs show
The photographs show the damaged ceiling with part of the construction exposed, followed by the patched ceiling before final preparation and decoration. A further photograph shows the reinstated ceiling with its decorated finish.
Together, these views record the damage, investigation, intermediate repair and completed ceiling. The patching photograph is labelled separately from the finished view so the sequence is clear.
