We can pick up where the last company finished
Drying can leave exposed walls, missing flooring or an open ceiling. Reinstatement means putting those parts of your home back and completing the finishes. You can ask us to quote for just that remaining work.
Tell us how the leak was fixed and what has been done so far. Send any drying records so we can understand whether the affected materials are ready for the repairs.
REAL PROJECT EVIDENCE
A Manchester bedroom reinstated after drying
Another company completed the strip-out and drying. Graham completed the reinstatement shown in the project story.

Useful information from the previous contractor
- What caused the leak and how it was repaired.
- What was removed and what stayed in place.
- Any drying records or completion findings.
- Photos of areas that are now covered up.
- A list of repairs still needed.
Do not worry if you do not have everything. Tell us what is available and we will explain what else needs checking.
Agree what your finished room should include
We can help with plasterboard, plastering, flooring, skirting, joinery, kitchens, bathrooms, tiling and decoration. We agree what can stay and what needs replacing.
If you want upgrades as well as repairs, we price them clearly so you can see the difference. Read what affects a repair quotation and what to check before decorating.
A real handover in Manchester city centre
Water from the balcony perimeter of the apartment above saturated a bedroom wall. Another company completed the strip-out and drying. Graham then reinstated the bedroom to its original state.
Follow the exposed wall, new lining, plastering and finished bedroom. The first photograph includes the other company’s drying equipment; Premier is credited for the reinstatement.
Your questions answered
Must I use the company that dried the room for the repairs?
You can ask Premier to quote for the remaining work. Check any insurer or existing contract requirements before appointing a different contractor.
Can you quote without a drying report?
Tell us which findings are available and what is missing. We discuss the information or inspection needed for a reliable scope and the readiness of retained materials.
Can you just plaster and decorate the wall?
We can discuss that scope where appropriate. The source, substrate condition, preparation and required finish still need to be clear.
