Premier Reinstatements

Bathroom reinstatement after two leaks in Worsley.

A Worsley bathroom replacement after two leaks, completed June 2026. Reinforced shower floor, tanking and a premium finish with customer-funded upgrades.

A bathroom replacement after two leaks

Premier Reinstatements (UK) Ltd completed this bathroom project in Worsley, Greater Manchester, in June 2026. Two leaks had affected the room: a very slow leak behind the bath and a separate leak at the shower. The floor was extensively damaged, and the work involved a full bathroom replacement.

The project combined repairs following the leaks with a substantial upgrade chosen by the customer. The photographs show the room opened up during the work and the new bathroom design.

Insurance funding and the customer’s own contribution

The job went through the customer’s own insurance policy. The customer added their own money to the insurance payout to fund a higher-end bathroom than the damage repair alone would have provided.

That distinction is central to this project. The finished specification reflects both the reinstatement work and the customer’s decision to pay for additional improvements. The photographs should not be read as a promise that an insurer will fund the same fittings, finishes or upgrades on another claim.

Reinforcing the shower floor before the new finish

The shower floor was fully reinforced to accommodate the new shower tray former. Tanking was then included for the wet-room tiled floor. This preparation formed part of the replacement bathroom, alongside the visible fittings and finishes.

The work photographs give context to those stages: the shower area and floor were exposed as the original bathroom was removed. They show why the project extended beyond the appearance of the finished room, with the floor preparation and shower construction forming important parts of the scope.

Floor repairs and wet-room preparation

The scope brought together

  • Full replacement of the bathroom following the damage caused by the two leaks.
  • Reinforcement of the shower floor for the new shower tray former.
  • Tanking for the wet-room tiled floor.
  • Installation of the replacement bathroom and the customer’s upgraded fittings and finishes.

The new bathroom design

The supplied photographs show dark green wall tiles, a light floor with a contrasting speckled pattern and a white freestanding bath. Gold-coloured fittings and shower framing sit alongside dark bathroom furniture. An arch frames the shower area, giving it a distinct place within the room.

These visible details record the customer’s chosen scheme. The result was a replacement bathroom with a substantially upgraded finish, supported by the floor reinforcement and preparation carried out during the work.
