Put your rooms back together after a leak
Whether water has come through the ceiling, soaked a bedroom wall or damaged the floor, Premier can help you work out what needs repairing. We take enquiries from homeowners and landlords in Manchester, including city-centre apartments, and agree the work around your property.
You can contact us before the source is known, after a plumber has stopped the leak, or when another company has finished drying. Tell us what is already complete so we can focus on the work you need.
REAL PROJECT EVIDENCE
From water damage to a finished Manchester living room
A leak ran down the walls and flooded the floor. The job required drying and reinstatement.

Ceilings, walls, floors and fitted rooms
- Ceiling repairs: assess the damaged lining, agree removal or repair, then complete plastering and decoration.
- Wall repairs: replace affected lining where required, plaster and restore the agreed finish.
- Floor repairs: consider damaged coverings, the floor beneath, skirting and adjoining finishes together.
- Kitchen and bathroom reinstatement: identify fittings to retain or replace and keep optional upgrades separate from the damage repair.
Water coming from another apartment?
The source may be upstairs while the damage is in your own home. Tell us what the neighbour or managing agent has found, whether the leak has stopped and who can arrange access. We can discuss the work inside your property while the remaining dependencies are made clear.
Our Altrincham kitchen project followed a leak from the apartment above and a ceiling collapse. Our Manchester bedroom project shows reinstatement after a separate company’s strip-out and drying. See the repair route after a leak from a flat above.
A clear quotation for the work that remains
Start with safe photographs and a short description. We discuss the affected materials, access and any need to inspect before agreeing a scope. The quotation should show removal, preparation, replacement and finishing, together with the work included and any decisions still needed.
If you are making an insurance claim, share the existing schedule and check the insurer’s approval requirements before authorising non-emergency work. Your insurer decides cover and settlement. Read about insurance reinstatement and what changes a repair quotation.
Manchester enquiries, from our Rossendale base
Premier serves Manchester from Rossendale; we do not present a Manchester branch address. Send the postcode so we can confirm coverage and attendance. For a managed building, let us know about the entrance, floor, lift, parking and permitted working hours where relevant.
Our Greater Manchester service area also includes enquiries in nearby boroughs. Property managers can use professional enquiries to set out a wider instruction.
Your questions answered
Can you repair the damage if somebody else fixed the leak?
Yes. Tell us what was repaired and share the available findings. We can discuss the remaining drying, preparation or reinstatement.
Can I contact you directly as a homeowner?
Yes. Use the public enquiry form or call Premier. You do not need a professional referral or a portal account.
Do you only work on apartments?
No. We take enquiries for houses as well as flats. Send the postcode, damage details and the type of property so we can discuss your job.
Send photos and tell us what has happened
Send the property postcode, the rooms affected and what has already been done. Photographs taken from a safe position help us discuss the next step. If you have a repair schedule or findings from another contractor, tell us about them.
Send photos and request a repair quotation or call 0330 633 0025. No portal account is needed. Attendance and the proposed work are agreed with you.
